Rodent Controland keeping them out.
Nothing is worse than walking into your kitchen and staring eye-to-eye with a rat or a mouse. Solving the infestation is only half the job — the other half is the entry points they used.
Rats and mice cause huge food loss worldwide every year. They invade homes and businesses carrying the risk of more than 35 serious diseases, including Hantavirus. They gnaw through lead sheathing, cinder block, aluminum siding and even some concrete to reach a location, and spoil stored food with feces, urine and fur. Their burrowing and gnawing causes costly damage to buildings.
They squeeze through very small openings — about 1/4 inch for mice and 1/2 inch for rats — which is why prevention is so difficult. Not only are rodents in homes, they're in supermarkets, restaurants, warehouses, food processing facilities, livestock facilities, farms and fields: anywhere there's food.
Rodents reproduce rapidly, with major activity at night. Rats are cautious, mice more curious. Rats tend to eat most of their food at one time, while mice nibble. Removing food sources helps — but it's important not to disturb the habitat before the population is controlled, because they'll simply move elsewhere in the building. A successful program combines baiting and trapping for the highest rate of success.
That's why our approach goes beyond setting traps. We seal the access points in the structure so the next generation has nowhere to get in.
Our methods
- Traps — placed strategically inside and outside your home to stop reproduction
- Safe baits — eliminate the infestation without future rodent problems
- Professional poison handling — let the experts manage it
- Electronic control
- Exclusion — sealing access points in the structure
We use eco, child- and pet-friendly methods wherever the situation allows.
