Home prepared for structural fumigation treatment
Full structure tenting

Structural Fumigationwhen the whole building needs it.

Specific tarps are used to create an air-tight seal around the outside of the structure. After sealing, a gas fumigant is released inside, filling all air spaces and voids in the wood, walls and floors.

Fumigation is the most complete form of termite treatment available, because the gas reaches every void inside the structure rather than only the soil or the wood we can access.

It's the right call when termites are widespread through the framing, or when drywood termites have established in multiple areas of a building.

After the treatment period the structure is aerated, and our fumigation professionals check it with advanced equipment to ensure all of the fumigant has dissipated before authorizing re-entry. Nobody goes back in until we've confirmed it's clear.

The process

  • Structure sealed with fumigation tarps
  • Gas fumigant released into all voids — wood, walls and floors
  • Structure aerated after the treatment period
  • Checked with advanced equipment before anyone re-enters
  • Re-entry authorized only once fumigant has fully dissipated

This reaches termites that soil treatments and injections cannot — which is why it's used for widespread infestations.

We'll inspect and tell you honestly whether tenting is needed.
